NSW Holiday Collection Shopping Event

Last night 21 Mercer was crowded. The reason you may ask. NSW Holiday Collection Shopping Event took place. A few items were for sale, items such as the Loopwheeler fleece, outerwear from the Tokyo Design Studio. The Vandal Dunk Hi went on sale as well. 21 Mercer kept everyone entertained with music food and drinks. The Party was not known to many. It was more of a word of mouth party. There were even four X’clusive Air Force 1 Hi's on sale for certain people with a certain status. VIP and Celebs. The Stash Hi Pack. (Rumored) to be released next month on November 15. Check the pics below.

Today at 21 Mercer had a little twist as well. If you came in and had on a hot pair of kicks and the manager Will noticed you won a chance to get a free AF1 ID.
Nike is promoting this store in a big way. And just in case you haven’t noticed it's working great.

On Monday 10-27-08 21 Mercer has something else brewing. An evening of Nike ACG Boots event. This event may be invite only. As soon as we get more details we will post the information. You can view the pic below. If I get the ok I will post the entire pic.

On November 15, 2008 Nike is back at it once again. This time it will be for Bespoke-A-Thon. For those of you who don’t know what a Bespoke is. It's a new and innovative by appointment design experience, Nike Sportswear Bespoke is an opportunity to work one-on-one with Nike Designers to customize select Nike footwear styles. Taking individual design to new heights, Nike Sportswear Bespoke is globally exclusive to 21 Mercer and launches November 15, 2008 with the iconic Air. So far there are only two people who had the chance to sit down and design a pair. The first person is Lebron James and the second person will remain nameless until I get the ok. If I do get the ok I will post the sneaker as well. You will be able to add 3M & different colors of elephant print with much more options then a normal ID. Be prepared to spend some bread with their $820 price tag. You can check out the elephant print & croc colorways below. The croc will be for the made to order AF1's. The price will be $2,000

Busy P x Air Force 1

On October 30, 2008 21 Mercer and Nike Sportswear at The Montalbán will be releasing the Busy P Air Force 1. Originally it was suppose to be a Paris only release at the store Colette. Everyone that’s into kicks should know when it’s a Nike release anything can change. With that said Nike Sportswear introduces the Busy P x Air Force 1 to the US, created in partnership with global innovator Pedro Winter aka Busy P as part of the 1WORLD series.

SneakrAddicts will be there to bring you the best coverage possible. Hopefully this will be more exciting then the Kaws release. Click the pics below to see where the inspiration came from.

Busy P is suppose to be there as well. He will have a little surprise for all of you who are there to purchase the kicks. SRP rumored at $250 (GOOD LUCK)

P-Rod Gucci Pack

Everyone has their favorite style of sneaker, such as Air Force 1, Air Max 95, etc, etc. there is one style of sneaker that is slept on by a lot of people. That sneaker style is the P-Rod SB line.

Nike turned to the young Paul Rodriguez as a front runner. Paul Rodriguez was the first pro skater to be signed on to Nike SB in 2004. In 2005, the Nike P-Rod SB's were released. In 2005 the P-Rod SB line did great. Were not sure why, but we can say that it might have been because of the elite series. The series consisted of designs from Futura, Stash, Marco Hernandez, Michael Hernandez, Tinker Hatfield and last but not least the unreleased pair from Andy Jenkins. (Dam I really wanted that pair.)

Since then the P-Rod line has died down unless you’re a skater. Nike tried to do the same thing again with the new series of P-Rods. Sad to say it didn’t work as well as it did in 2005. Tinker Hatfield has designed a pair once again and a new designer to the P-Rod series Hiroshi Fujiwara.

Nike has come up with a color way that is very popular. The Gucci color way. How will this pair do? To give you a little more motivation Nike used the Jedi mind trick. They made a matching varsity and hat. (They can keep the hat. I’m already sold on the varsity and kicks). I was fortunate enough to obtain the varsity as a gift. Now all I need are the sneakers. The varsity looks great in person.
